Darmah - the meaning of the word?

Post by Rossco27 »

Dharma - is an Indian spiritual and religious term, that means one's righteous duty or any virtuous path in the common sense of the term.

I like the sound of that! But is "Darmah" the Italian spelling of the same word?

You may be disappointed by what I have to say.......the name Darmah was taken from a fabled tiger in a famous children's (presumably Italian) book and was thus very recognizable in Italy.

It seems the name has very little to do with Indian spirituality.

i always thought it came from the old latin saying
DARIMUS HABIAS NERO
which loosely translates into english as
"the black plague"
