unobtainable and hard to find parts

Post by nottonight68 »

hi all
i dont know if this is the right section
but have spent months looking for parts-some easy to find, some hard, some impossible
i thought why not share the knowledge-some hard to find parts took hours of trawling the net to find
is it worth having a post that we can go to for location of rare bits
eg the only place i could find an early nos ss clutch lever was mdina-it was'nt on his web site but he found one for me
this was after i looked everywhere
i could list all hard to find parts i found and so on
this would then become a short cut for restorers(e bay does not count)
thanks

Steve, I think all the reputable sellers of Ducati parts are pretty well known by all. There is nothing unobtainable if your pockets are deep enough. Part of the fun for me is finding great deals, within my budget, and unfortunately mostly on eBay. Motorcycle only swap meet would be a great thing to get going. Jordan
