Engine clear coat?

Post by droopydawg »

Just had the '67 250 engine vapor-media blasted.
Is there anything that I should do to maintain it? Engine clear?
Thx

Just ride it.

please do not clear coat anything. Please do search the cleaning FAQ on this site, every now and then light wet, spray with Simple Green and rinse. Easy-cheezy.

I treat all bare aluminum with Alodine conversion coating. 1001 is clear, 1201 results in a brownish color finish. Terrific at preventing corrosion.
