Tyres for 750 Sport

Post by tobaccoblender »

Hi there
When I were a lad (imagine that in a Yorkshire accent), you could choose between Dunlop TT100's, Avon Roadruners or Pirelli Phantoms. The size was 4.10x19 front and 4.25x18 rear. Given that I've got the same rims as it had from new, what is rated as a good all rounder tyre for the 750 Sport? What's the popular choice?
Thanks

avon AM26 90/90 F and 100/90 rear (110-/90 MAX rear)
what I just installed on my 73 Sport. I run avon AM26 on all my bevels.

Thanx for that Steve. I take it you are still on the original Borrani rims?
Also, that product you sell for coating the inside of the headers to stop them blueing- do you just need to do it once or does it need repeat treatments? Also, how do you apply it?
Cheers

yes original boranni 1.85 rims. The blue job stuff is not being produced any longer it was a 1 time thing and worked very well.

no - which is why I didn't post a link to purchase and why you do not see it listed any longer in my store website.
