Baked enamel vs powdercoat

Do people still get frames , swingarms etc painted and baked or is powdercoating the preferred way.
I would like to do my ssd frame the baked enamel way as it is easier to patch chips, scratches etc.
Plus it is the original way and imo looks better. Anyone know a good painter able to paint and bake my frame, I,m in perth WA.
Also the FPS wheels, do they get blasted before painting or acid dipped,
