Request for advice - MHR fairing fitting

Afternoon all,

Thought I would ask in case there are any past experiences of fitting the single piece fairing on a 1979 Ducati 900 Replica (to become the Mike Hailwood Replica).

I've got in on, the alloy brackets are all "loosley" fitted and I have yet to drill the four mounting holes in the nose of the fairing for the headlamp brackets.

I thought I would ask if anyone has any hard won tips from experience on how to fit the fairing properly before I take my life in my hands and drill the newly restored fairing.
