GT750 Paint

Read forums old and new, this and others, until my eyes are bloodshot and need rest. Still haven't found a paint reference for any red colours for a GT750. I have a 1974 which I presume should be painted red and black (it has painted guards). Should it be a metal flake colour or solid colour? Does anyone know any codes? There was a GT sold on ebay last week. If you saw that then that's the type of colour i'm after. I think.
