Hello all,
I'm new to the forum, and I'm hoping some of the expertise found on here can help me through my widecase 350 scrambler restoration.
Here's a picture of what I'm starting with.
I recently purchased a gas tank online that was described as being from a widecase scrambler. My tank has some dents and no paint, and the new tank is in great condition. However, the shape of the rear of the tank is different from the one on my bike. Also, the mounting tab in front of the seat is different. This one has a pin or post instead of the bent up tab used on my scrambler's tank. Even the gas cap opens by pushing on the rear instead of typical lever. The top of the gas cap appears to say Supercortemaggiore.
Can someone help me figure out what bike this tank came off of?
Thanks for any help.
