Hi All,
I need to have a repair done to both my tank and rear mudguard and have taken the plunge to have them taken back to original colour. It is currently black and should be red.

Would anyone know what the colour actually is and if so what would I need to ask a bodyworks to match the paint (info from Oz would be handy). I believe it is the same red as a Darmah.

did you ever get a paint code for the red? I am going to be painting my 78 Darmah soon and a paint code would be very helpful. Under normal circumstances I would just try to match the original paint, but the original owner painted over the stock red paint job.

My mate just painted his red 1978 Darmah recently. I can ask him what he used when I see him next.

Bad news about the colour red my mate used. He had trouble getting a match so just picked the closest red from a later Ducati and used it. Still looks good.
