Smiths Instruments question

Post by conti-mental »

Hi all,

Anyone know where to source the correct Smiths Instrument faces to restore the clocks on a '75 ss?

Cheers,

Andy,
I have recently had a set of smith instruments restored for a '78 MV 850 and the dials are brand new. They would definately have the SS dials. I don't know whether they will sell the dials only but it's worth a try. The company is Lionel Otto Instruments in Brisbane, Australia. www.ottoinstruments.com.au and [email protected]

Well, I left it over a week, but still no reply __?__
Meantime I spoke to Gaggs here in the UK and they have the right face, so it looks like I'm all set ;)

Cheers,

Andy
