Glan seal oil leak

Post by Ducman »

The glan-nut where the wiring comes out of the alternator/oil-pump
housing on my Mille is leaking a fair amount of oil. This seems
pretty common.

Is there a known "good fix" for this? Are glan seal or whole assembly
replacements for this readily available in Sydney Oztralia or
anywhere else?

Items 24, 25, 26 and 27 on the following page would interest me

Once I get this sussed I'll be able to see if there are any other
areas needing oil-leak attention, as it seems to use or loose a bit.

gland nut leak

Post by BevHevSteve »

I have the rubber bit #26 and might have some of the fibre washers item 24 as well. Or, is this a metal gland nut? If so could use an aluminum crush washer which I have in stock. details are posted in my store website. http://www.bevelheaven.com
