BOSCH pick-up part #.

Anybody knows the Bosch part number for the ignition pick-up's used in the Mille?
Should be 10 digits.

My motor is on the bench with the clutch cover side off the atm (I'm fitting IgniTech Pickups and making new mount plate),
I can have a look and see if there is any discernible numbers on the old Bosch pickups, will post up any info I can find tomorrow.
http://www.roadandrace.com.au/electrical_repairs.htm have reconditioned units or are you after NOS if you can find them?
Even then I would recommend rewiring them with heat/oil proof wires, pay attention to the polarity if you wire them backwards that cylinder will run at full advance
potentially destroying your starter sprag bearing if it backfires while starting.

Might be time to ditch the old Bosch system and go with a Sashe (sp?) or IgniTech

Just back from the shed...

Part# is 1 214 212 118
and then 445 below the main number
From a quick google they were fitted to Moto Guzzi and some Pantah's as well

hello,
sorry for my poor english
i have some difficult with my 1000 MHR
After re-wiring and exchage the 2 pick up, afer change and permute the two electronic ignition block, after checking all connection, and electric continues .

gap pick up adjust at 15/100 mm

I have full advance at each time and natyraly , some difficult at low RPM

Has somebody a good idée to solve my mystake ?

Reverse / swap the pick up wires position into the bosch electronic box
when you say pick up gap you mean 0.15mm ~ 0.10mm ?
I will look in my workshop manual tonight and confirm the gap, also it is preferred to use a brass or other non magnetic feeler gauge to check the gap to get a better "feel"
hope my english makes sense :)

Bastoch ( from south of France )
That's the way I run my Mille for years now, full advance right away.
And almost every Mille runs bad at low rpm's, no matter the advance......!!
