Re: Electric start to kick start

(If I blow out a knee in my old age!!..). What I did note was that the gear selector shaft on the Darmah ca...

Re: Introduction..
Welcome Jesper, Where abouts in Danmark are you from? Ducatis in Danmark, is that a common thing? I spent some time years ago in Danmark after a 12 month motorcycle tour of Europe with a friend (we rode a BMW R100RS and a 900SS Ducati) and recall a few japanese bike being popular, but not seeing man...

Re: My race bike- NCR rep
Thanks Rick for the kind words re the Island, it was a blast, and yes, a HP limited class (up to say 110 hp? ) would be the go, and bring some bevels back, or maybe even like the English are doing now, and resurecting the BEARS class into Historic racing. I will be back next year for sure, it is jus...

My race bike- NCR rep
Hi all, Well it took some time to get to the track , but Ive managed to do a couple of events now and I am really keen to do more as I can afford it. Only issues- I still run a wet clutch and its cooked after the recent Phillip Island Classic meet. So new plates required. Tyres lasted the 2 meets, a...

Re: EPM wheels?
Your post on these wheels was some time ago, but I thought I might try you. So, did you sort these wheels out? Did you fit them to a 900ss? I have a 79 model built to track /race and I am looking around for light wheels (18 x 2.5 front, 18 x 3.5 rear) for my bike. Are you using your wheels? Know of ...

Thanks for the responses so far, the Smith japanese link looks promising, I will do further review, yes that seems expensive, but have you priced a Mario Sassi unit? A bit more than that in OZ $$. As for the Nova straight cuts, I already have them fitted in the engine, I did that thinking things wou...

Lumpy, If you call Gowanlochs in sydney you can just buy the lot in a set to suit your 4 bolt OR 6 bolt setup. It takes out all the hunting around and is cost effective too if you are in OZ. Thats how I did mine on my 79ss and Im really happy. Obviously you wont get Borranni 4777's you will get Akro...
