Darmah Wiring Wishlist

I'm going to see a bloke next week about rewiring my Darmah.. so as per the thread title, what should i be looking for in an updated wiring loom? what does/doesnt work?

I'm expecting relocated fusebox (behind side panel).. and reg/rec, and replace with a modern one?

any thoughts?

Re: Darmah Headlight Brackets

not sure what the original poster ended up doing but i've had a very frustrating evening trying to refit the headlight brackets... i had to wreck 2 of the old rubbers getting the fork legs out, and the replacement ones just dont fit... the material is too thick and too soft as it just rucks up when ...

Darmah FPS wheel bearing installation

FPS Wheels cushdrive - sorry!

sorry for yet another thread but i'm about to remove the wheels on my Darmah for refurb, just wondered if the much talked about cushdrive bolt problem is normally obvious? I've been out to the bike just now and tried pulling and pushing the wheel side to side etc and no play... whilst the wheels are...

Darmah Steering Damper

the steering damper on my SD wasnt fitted when I bought the bike - I've only managed 60 miles on it and wasnt pushing it so no idea if it needs one... so whats the teams thoughts - are they essential or were they just a 70's fashion thing ?

thanks for the replies.. it looks like the leak is where the rear tank mount attaches, so I guess the tightening it up/loosening off tweeks the seam slightly, which doesnt help.. I had the same thing on a Guzzi once.. Think I'll give the sealant a try, as the rest of the inside of the tank looks nic...
