Desmophil,
The seat trim is very difficult to get. I bought a complete seat in poor condition to get the trim. I haven't seen too many come up recently. Your best chance is to get on to an American BMW dealer and try to get R75 alloy seat trim eg www.bobsbmw.com

Dave,
I really was referring to some of the non-functional machines that have been parted. Anyway as long as someone owns a particular item they can do what they like with it.

Marty, I think I met you at the 6 hour. I know the person parting out these bikes. My take on it is that the people selling them to him are bailing out of something and are unwilling to part themselves. Also, if people buy the parts I generally assume that they need them. The only dissapointing thin...

Brian,
I am looking closely at a couple of Australian SFC's. Any chance you could pm me some photos of your Lav for reference purposes. Marnix helped with a copy of his book. A swap for a '77 seems to be in the price range that I was looking at. "Looked" at 3 so far ( 18000,17000, 11000.)

Rick,
Thanks for the info. I was pretty certain these were SS items. So I can now sell them with confidence as they are probably not going to be needed by me.regards,

Swingarm question

I have a new swingarm tube which is 295mm long, ID 22mm and OD 29mm. Also, I have 2 new brass bushes 44mm long, ID 29mm and OD 33.7 I thought these were for a 900SS but have been told this is not so. Can someone tell me if this is correct or not?

Dellorto Fuel Banjo wanted.

I am looking for 2 fuel banjos for Dellorto UB24B carbs. I believe these banjos are fitted to many of the smaller Dellortos.

I am fortunate to have Dean as a local resident and he does a bit of work on my Ducatis from time to time. If there is anything specific that you would like to know I can ask him. Phil is also in the district and can punt his 860 at indecent speeds through the corners.

Things sure are weird! I didn't look at your location and I went thru Busselton yesterday....just about the furtherest point in Australia from my home. Had lunch at the pier(equinox) and am going to take a look at the wineries today. Regards,

RWHC80, I rang Ian Gowanloch about 6 weeks ago trying to get the correct M/C for my '75 SS. He didn't have one, which I expected, but he did have a few of the ones you are looking for that might be surplus to a few bikes he is putting together. Give him a call during work hours on 02 694 626 99. he ...
