avoid clip type master links. It isn;t worth the risk. They don;t often fail but when they do it could be catastrophic.

yes, stainless front and rear.

The rear finder has a front lower piece made out of black plastic, there are 2 different versions of this plastic piece, I still have a couple/few of each you can find in the bodywork section in our online store.

"Dropping the compressor over the piston" ?? I think you may need to do some video googling to see this done. My compressor I just loosen it up to fit OVER the piston and rings, then tighten it up which compresses the rings. Tighten enough to compress rings to piston OD but not so tight that it won'...

you did the most straight forward thing to start your search for the cause of no spark. You move something and the problems migrates with it, then that is your problem. just pick up a set of new DYNA 5 ohm coils and be done with it.
