I put the dyna system on my bike. With the coils mounted under the tank no one can see them anyway, and I'm convinced the Dyna ignition is one of the reasons my bike starts first kick virtually every time.

I wouldn't even consider using the old style coils...

The problem is, you can't anodize steel. You can plate it though, there's some do it yourself electroplating kits that will work but it tales a lot of time. I considered that on one of my current projects but ended up simply spraying them again instead. The other choice that many people take is to b...

I just realized Steve didnt post the beautifully restored Laverda above. Nice bike MacDesmo! I have never been accused of being the sharpest knife in the drawer. That Lav loks like a fun project, reminds me of the condition my 750 GT was in when I got it. Excpet my GT was still in one pice... BTW -...

I'm sure I'll get flamed for this but the tool I used was a brass drift and a big hammer. One smack in the face and off it came.

Hey, it wasn't my idea, it worked with no damage, and you seem a little pressed for time...

Hi, FYI: When you post a link to a picture, the link has to be to the image address, not the page it's on. As in, if the link/address doesn't end in .jpg or .gif, it most likely won't work (there are some less common file types that work too I think). The address to that pic is: http://lh3.ggpht.com...

Outstanding! What a great transformation from the squarish bodywork! I want to do that to my 66 Sebring. Where did you get the wheels/rims? Thanks. The rims are some NOS San Remos off eBay. They aren't the ones you want though, they're 17". You want 18". If you like these wheels, what you want to d...
