Engine is called "Ritorno" and yes, plain crankshaft bearing!

Re: Vee Two Hailwood Replica
No comments...??
After the original Ducati MHR, MHR Mille, MHe 900, the NCR Hailwood Replica racer, is this the Ultimate Replica after all..!!
I think it's really amazing that a motorcycle event after 40 years still gets attention like this....

Re: Mille S2: Paint frame with homologation plate installed?
It's not that difficult to remove that little plate, and have it refitted after painting at all... B.t.w. consider to have the frame modified with extra tubes welded on the inside of the half round tubes, to eleminate the notorious bad roadholding of the Mille chassis... It's not visable from outsid...

Re: Led lamps in the Dashboard
I don't have indicators on my MHR ( Mike Hailwood didn't have them either....
)
But you need a special led relay, as far as I know.
They are inexpensive to be found at Ebay!

Re: 81 MHR lower fairing brackets!
My Mille MHR is equiped with a non original NCR replica fairing, and I had to make those brackets myself.
I just used aluminum strips from a hardware store...

Re: no one run Pirelli Phantoms?
I run Pirelli Sport Demon on my Mille MHR, but only in nice, dry weather, and can't compare them with other, modern tyres, because I never use anything else but Pirelli...

Re: Led lamps in the Dashboard
I have the same in my Mille.
They are more brighter than normal bulbs, and that's excactely what I wanted, because stock bulbs were dim at daylight, hard to see in a glance.
The leds are just fine for daylight driving, maybe to bright for night driving ( which I don't do anyway...).

Re: Irridium spark plugs
I've started the Mille today, no change in behavior, but....cold idling has improved a lot!
In the past, with original Bosch ignition, and "normal"plugs, cold idling was a pain. but that is all gone now, after releasing the choke lever, the engine was idling perfect!

Re: Irridium spark plugs
OK, thanks. I bought NGK BPR7HIX, instead of the NGK BPR7HS that was suggested by the manufacturer of the Sachse ignition that is on my Mille since this summer. I have put the plugs in, but haven't started the bike yet... Btw, those NGK Irridium are available at www.mister-auto.nl, and they are a Fr...
