Hi Gerard,
A friend of mine has a 74 GT. I will check with him to see if he has a splitter that I can get a pic of.

Hi Martin, You can still get good reproduction caps. The caps that Steve here has are the small opening caps (50mm). The cap on my 750GT is a 71mm (measured by the rubber seal in the cap or the opening of the tank) so make sure of the one you need. The cap is easily reinstalled on the tank. Just sli...

Hey Hugh, Back again tonight. Some dumb questions and some not so dumb. Did you fully charge the battery? I mean fully charge it so you know that you are getting 12.6-13 volts from the battery? What did you do with the other brown wire? There should be two brown wires coming from your old regulator....

Hi Hugh, I assume you are using the diagram here, http://www.electrosport.com/Images/fitting.esr510.a.pdf for installation purposes. It sounds as if you have no power beyond the fuse box. Check the F1 fuse in the fuse box (assuming you have the original box). It is the fuse that has red wire on one ...

Hey Weld,
Don't grind just yet.
Go to http://www.bevelheaven.com/~BB/phpBB2/v ... php?t=1132
Steve gave me some good advice here. If it is not clear let me know and I will e-mail you a picture as to what to do.
Looks like your 900 has the same gas cap as my 750GT.
Hope this helps,
Dean

750 GT charge rate?

Hello to the gurus, Maybe you can help. 1973 750 GT stopped on me last night. No spark. Discovered the battery was low, (I'm assuming it has a battery ignition as opposed to an alternator ignition). Have checked the obvious things. It still has the points. With a digital volt meter across the batter...

Removing tank badges and gas cap

Hello all,
New to the forum. Long time lurker.
As the subject says I would like info on removing the tank badges and gas cap on a 750 GT, obviously, without damaging them.
Haven't found this info anywhere yet.
Thanks in advance,
Dean
