Sachse is back

After the very sad demise of Volker Sachse last year a family friend has taken over the business so they are once again available. I have one on my Lav RGS and it is excellent, never misses a beat and seems to solve that endless plug fouling and rough idling problems they had. Am about to try one on...

Oil drain plug crush washer size

Can someone tell me what size the oil drain plug (the one with the filter thingy on the back) crush washer size is so I can buy one before I take it out to change the oil? Mine appears to not be there at all and is leaking!

Thanks

Re: HELP! Front wheel bearings

Awesome, yep that worked a treat thanks. I tweaked both bearings out about .25mm or so, bolted it all up and while the spacer is tight into the bearings it isn't tight enough to stop then turning easily, stuck the wheel back on, tightened it all up and it's as good as new. Thanks for that!! Another ...

Re: FAQ: Sprocket Carrier Bearing & Spacer Installation

I ended up taking it to a mates place and pressing it apart, we had to make up suitable mandrels etc on his lather, he has a proper blind bearing puller which got it started but the other bits needed to be pressed and heated. It took a lot of pressure!! Now I'm having front wheel woes, see new threa...

Re: FAQ: Sprocket Carrier Bearing & Spacer Installation

Old topic I know, but how on earth does one get these bearings out? I can't even shift the right hand (in the diagram) spacer, let alone move the bearings. I suspect one can use a blind bearing puller to get the right hand spacer out? Then what? Just bash the beejeesus out of the centre spacer (ok u...
