1980 Darmah 900 SSD for sale
I bought this stunning, fully restored Darmah 900 SSD to replace my Stafford Show winning 900 SS that I was daft enough to sell a few years ago. Unfortunately, due to health issues I’ve been unable to ride her very much. She has enjoyed a full restoration with all frame / hardware parts and wheels p...

Re: '77 900GTS Radaelli rims ~ Resurrection!!
Thread resurrection, someone was interested in either a front or rear rim and I wasn't aware of the difference. Then later on someone asked if they were still available, as they were interested. Anyhow, they are still in my workshop and here are a couple of photos so that peeps can distinguish betwe...

OK, no interest on here so it's down to the skip / dumpster, depending on your location.

'77 900GTS Radaelli rims
Hi Folks, I have a spare pair of original Radaelli rims from my '77 900GTS that have been sitting around in my workshop for several years. I'm just about ready to put them in the skip but thought I'd ask here if anyone wanted or needed them. Condition wise, they are a little rusty in places but not ...

Re: FAQ: clutch pushrod order info
Hi Guys, I'm just fitting an extended clutch actuating arm to my SSD and took the opportunity to check out / clean / lube the pushrod assembly. Interestingly, with engine number 904143, I found the exact same arrangement of rollers, balls and rods as shown in the 860 diagram (see an earlier post). I...

Re: Darmah SSD Pillion Footrest / Silencer mount
Thanks Guys, I think I'll proceed with set screw entered from each side, makes it easier to dismantle one piece at a time. FYI, my bike has Conti reps. and a 3/4" - 1" spacer between the silencer bracket and the footrest hanger so the screw will be a bit longer than in Craig's photo. Steve...

Darmah SSD Pillion Footrest / Silencer mount
Hi Guys, I'm looking for some feedback here please. According to the attached parts diagram, the pillion footrest bracket is attached by a bolt through from the inside, into the footrest hanger. I've not yet found an online manual showing the silencer mount. Now, my SSD has been fitted up with 10mm ...

Re: Stalling when hot
Hi Guys, I hope you don't mind me jumping in on the Commando / Ducati bit. I've just sold my '72 750 Combat because the 900 GTS and the Darmah SSD that I have do all that even a modified Commando (twin discs, 920 motor, 5 speed box) will do but without leaking oil. And of course , the sound!! Then f...

Re: SSD Indicator support
You could easily fabricate a replacement indicator mounting bar, weld it to your existing mount and fill in the holes drilled by the DPO.
Thanks for the piccy Craig, saves me taking mine apart.

Re: SSD Indicator support
I just popped down to the garage to check and couldn't be sure how this attaches (I've not dismantled it before). It looks to be a one piece with the No. plate / rear light support. I took a couple of photos but they're not much help! I'll have another look in daylight! Probably need to remove the r...

Re: 900 SSD Colour Codes - Post Here
For some time I fancied getting an SSD because of the engine spec. compared to my 900 GTS but when seen in the flesh I was less than impressed with the solid blue "blobs" on the metallic blue background. To me, it just looked odd, weird even, so I passed on a couple of bikes until finding ...

Re: '77 900 GTS Upper Throttle Cable ~ UK
Thanks for the link Craig, I wasn't aware of this company. I've now had confirmation from Tony B that he doesn't have a cable so I think I'll just turn up a shouldered spacer to take up the odd 15 mm for now.
Thanks for the input.

'77 900 GTS Upper Throttle Cable ~ UK
Hi Guys, Does anyone have a UK source for a"splitter to twist grip" cable for a 900 GTS. One from Andy Jones is about 15mm too long on the inner cable and Tony Brancato says he doesn't think he's got any original ones left. If I can't find one that fits then I'll make an extra spacer for t...
