Darmah Tacho Drive Seal Change

Hopefully just a quick question.. need to change the oil seal on the tacho drive, but not sure how to remove the old one to start with ?! Is it a case of prying it out or does the drive come to pieces ? I've got the bevel cover off and removed the circlip and grub screw, however the drive parts didn...

Re: changed clutch now no gears???

changed clutch now no gears???

as per the title really... clutch hub nut was loose so whilst i had the clutch apart fitted another set of plates.. got it all back together but now i cant seem to get any gears? I think its not selecting any gears rather than a no drive problem as even with the engine off, i can click it into gear ...

Re: Rat's nest wiring

cant really help as i'm the other side of the Atlantic :) but i can sympathise as my Darmah had been half rewired, but all in black cable  I ended up giving it to a motorcycle electrician who rewired the bike along the lines youre talking... fusebox relocated to behind the sidepanel, dyna coi...

Re: Modern Tyre sizes 1975 860GTE

ive gone for BT45's on my Darmah, and they work really well on it... not so keen on roadriders, i think they mustve changed in recent years as they always used to be first choice on my Guzzi but the ones currently fitted to my Le Mans dont feel as good..

my Dramah is my first bevel experience, but looks like you've had a bit more, and still come back for more ! :-D seems to be a bit more interest in the 860's these days.. have a look at these links for a couple of other people recent projects.. http://www.ducati-upnorth.com/forum/showthread.php?1948...

Re: Darmah Wiring Wishlist

thanks all, some food for thought there.... -*!^- especially the mention of a connector in the pick-up cable.. current loom is mostly original, which as usual is getting a bit frayed around the connectors and has a creeping green tinge under the insulation... a previous owner had done away with the ...
