I have been expecting to find him along the way here so...

Timing

I may be wrong about this, and I am not a mechanic and have never rebuilt one of these, But I thought than one of the strange and great things about the Duke V-twin is that Both cylinders fire at the same time. Therefore, that would lead me to think that both pistons would be at TDC at the same time...

prices

I was watching that one, but missed the last couple of days.

quite incredible isn't it!!!!

wish I would have bought 1/2 dozen when they were a grand or so.

Even the S2, a couple of years ago you would be lucky to get 2- grand for one

36mm dellortos

I have a pair sitting around I probably should sell. I am an honest guy, & any of you who watch this forum may remember the issues I had with them Purchased new in about 1988, probably did about 4000 K's before being left to sit. Went to rebuild them and discovered that the tip of the mixture screw ...

Roundcase Oil Strainer

Just been quoted huge dollars for new drain plug/oil strainer (if you can call it that!) for roundcase 750 GT. Gowanlochs had 1, Road & Race had none, waiting on fleabay querie, as the guy in Netherlands only has square case items listed, but the prices are about a quarter $265 + postage for a strai...
