I reluctantly have to sell my 1974 GT 750. It has been sported but I have most of the original parts. Triple Tree, seat, bars. Spare tank(damaged and leaking). Runs great, heads and pistons recently redone. Must be picked up in Toronto Canada.

Re: Silent Hektic Ignition
What trouble shooting have you done? Since the front is working have you swapped the wire from the pickup to the rear coil to test if the coil, wire and plug are working when you manually turn the engine over with the plugs removed? I would rule this out before messing with the pickups. Are the coil...

Re: Silent Hektic Ignition
They are inexpensive and work well and are pretty easy to set up..

I added a ground wire from the battery that mounts at the clutch cable, it seemed to help generate a better spark when setting up my timing.

Sorry about your brother Paul.
You have two wonderful machines to restore. I'm sure you will have a smile a mile wide when you ride that 900SS after tuning it up.

Float Levels PHF30
So my bike has always run rich. I have recently read that the needle valve should not be compressed at all when taking the measurement. I have always taken the measurement with the floats resting on the valve, this could explain a few things. So I should be using figure 13? http://www.ducatimeccanic...

Re: 750GT VS Sport Manifolds
Thanks Steve, I believe you mean PHF30 AS/AD on the GT. The exploded parts diagram shows 3 different manifolds, one for the Amal, one for the Dellorto sport which appears to be straight and one for the Dellorto GT. By your answer am I to understand that the PHF30 and PHF32's use the same manifolds.

750GT VS Sport Manifolds
Are the manifolds different between the sport and the GT? I.e. will a phf32 mount on gt manifolds?
They seem to be on the parts diagram.
