Wheels for Pantah 500

Hi Guys

I MAY have to replace the rear wheel on my 500Sl Pantah. You spin it and it looks like there is a buckle/dent in the rear wheel.

So are replacements generally available and if not what sort of alternatives are there.

Happy for any advice.

Catch ya

Thanks Mate. Yes there is a ballast resistor in place. I have a new battery which I bought when I got the bike back in March. My Father In law reminded me the other night, when I was talking to him, that unless you re-gap spark plugs when you put them in they will never be the right gap, and while t...

Hi Dean

Managed to check the resistance of the pickups, which should be around 220 ohms, both looked good.

That was when my multimeter decided to catch "Ducati Disease" and stopped working - bugger.

Tomorrow is another day and another multimeter.

CAtch ya

Tips for removing front wheel on Pantah

Hi Guys

I need to replace the discs on my 500SL pantah, and therefore need to remove the front wheel.

Is it as easy as it looks and I just undo the two "nuts" by locking one and turning the other.

Any gotcha's or other advice.

Thanks Guys
