Re: Aprilia

I can't recall where I read it. (it might come to me at some point) Seems to me it was a book or magazine article about old Ducati's and their electrics, but from what I recall reading they are not related to each other. Somebody will be along with more proof than my faulty memory though I hope. TDF

Very cool. I've always liked those little horizontal singles.

Re: New to the fleet...!

Man what are the odds. 10 minutes ago I was over on the Moto Guzzi forum where somebody posted a photo of a Garelli outboard motor for sale and then here you post up your very cool bike, and I've got a Garelli monkey bike sitting about 20 feet away from me as I type on my porch. It's like the stars ...

Re: 350 Monza

Jason, you're probably right that the forks will be the harder part. They were certainly challenging on the BSA my brother built. That's a front end off of a Yamaha XS650 on there. He cut the top and bottom off the steering head on both bikes and welded the top and bottom off the Yamaha to the left ...

Re: 350 Monza

I decided to Cafe mine because I never could quite get into the looks of the 66 Sebring. The squareness kinda bothers me. Had it been a 65 I'd have had to restore it. As to price. Well I gave a grand for the bike with a freshly rebuilt motor. And have almost another grand in the body kit from AirTec...

Re: 350 Monza

If you decide which way you're going to go on it, if it's restore, keep me in mind. I'm cafe'ing a 66 350 Sebring, that was mostly complete. I might have a few parts you could use. Side covers, chain guard, front fender, forks, etc. Nothing's perfect, bike sat in a barn for a few years (decades). Al...

Cool!

I've got a Bronco with title in almost that good of condition as well. Outdoor storage sure is hard on Italian chrome.

Dang you Scott, I was trying to get that bike, but apparently wasn't quick enough on the draw. One of these day's I'll be quick enough to beat you to something. Well if you decide to move it along, don't forget me over here in Nebraska. Pretty odd that all the numbers match though. TDF (aka Toby) P....

Howdy.

Tell us more about the Nebraska bike. The 67 350. Always interested to hear about Ducati's that came from my backyard.

Thanks,
TDF
