Ballast Resistor replacement.

Hello All, Wondering if there is any replacement available for the ballast resitors on a set of Darmah coils ? Thought I had read a blurb some time ago on this forum describing the role/purpose of the resistors but have been unable to locate it. ( Think it may have been posted by Craig or maybe Bill...

Re: GT 750 Spark Plug Leads

For anyone that requires the KLG 45 degree caps, In the N/Hemisphere, I would think Steve will either have them, or could get them. And in the S/Hemisphere Bevel Rubber has them. No Guarantees, but I'd hazard a guess that either one of those guys would also make you up a set if need be . Cheers Rick

Re: SKF Sprag bearing

G'day Jez, I am now on the second SKF sprag replacement in my Darmah, and fingers crossed it has shown no signs of failure thus far. Unfortunately, the first one lunched itself after about 12 months, but I suspect that was more an issue with starter and some occasional back firing issues I was havin...

Re: barn find

G'day Rick, Sounds like a great find if the deal comes off. Very rare to hear of a 750SS barnfind these days, damaged or not ! Regarding the cases, the correct ones are worth their weight in gold. The cases can be repaired dependant upon how much damage has occured, but even if you do need to replac...

Re: Converting Right to Left PHM40

Jeez Geoff,

At the risk of me looking like a Dill for the second time, just a little confused. Do you currently have 2 PHM 40 A/D's and want to make one of them an A/S ?? ( Oh, and I did read the heading this time Ha Ha !!)

Re: Main Bearings onV-Twins

James. At the risk of opening a very old can of worms, do some more research !!! "My understanding " is that a 40 Degree bearing is not the correct one for Bevel Mains ! The original bearing, was a 15 Degree, not a 40 Degree. Whilst a 40 Degree "will" work, at least for a time, t...

Re: GTS Dash

Thanks Steve, Appreciate your follow up. I will have a good look over your shop and see what else I need, as I might as well make the order worthwhile. Finally got a reply from Andy in Germany and he has one LED plate left so I grabbed that while it was still there ! so a sticker plate from B.H. and...

Re: GTS Dash

Wow, I'm really glad to see the Vintage Ducati sellers are doing so well,!!!! ..... So well in fact they don't even need to respond to purchase queries from clients...... After a week, NO response from emails to Italspares, No response from Andy Neinhagen, No response from Phil Hitchcock ( Road &...

Re: GTS Dash

Thanks Again Craig, You have been a huge help ! ....... I think I actually have both types of dash. Definately have the Aprilia type with horn and another without. On your scanned page, both dashes have a toothed out key hole. My Aprilia dash has it. but my other dash does not. Maybe they changed sl...

Re: GTS Dash

Thanks Craig, Brilliant, exactly what I needed ! ........No, not missing part #38, it is part # 44 that I didnt have. As I suspected,it appears to be a piece of circuit board with the led's fitted that screws up into the back of the main cover plate #43. Now, if I can locate someone who sells just t...

GTS Dash

Hi All, Wondering if anyone can possibly help with a photo of the underside of an 860 GTS dash unit ? . Alternately, a good description may give me enough to go on, but I currently have just the metal top that mounts to the handlebars. Not sure if they have an underside/backing panel, but it has 2 s...
