350 Pantah cylinder heads on 600 engine

Hi. The crankshaft is the same except for the stroke, so it is strong enough. By the way, 15 years ago it was possible to buy a ready to mount kit. With special barrels and pistond diam 82 the 350 became a 540. That is what I know, the problem is to borrow a pair of 650 barrels an pistons to see if ...

650 cylinders on 350 engine

Hi !

Does any one knows if it is possible to mount 650 Cagiva or Pantah cylinders and pistons diam 82 mm on a 350 engine.
I mean without a lot of machining.

Thanks.

350 Pantah cylinder heads on 600 engine

Hi

Does any one knows if a 350 Pantah head would fit a 600 engine after modification ?
I mean are the foundries the same overall dimensions, or are the 350 type externally smaller ?

Thanks. 8)

Hi guys !

I have done the same and found the same conclusion.
All that is right, the japanes filter can fit if you drill these holes and use a spacer and gasket or (better) O-ring.

new pistons and rebore

Hello ! The maxi you can rebore this liners is 79 mm, if more they become too thin an it is dangerous. And if you try different pistons you will have problems with the pin diameter and it's position (too high or too low) in the piston. So the best is to forget that. I have seen your pictures of cyli...

pistons for parallel twins

This a good question ! I begin to know about all the web sites and shops who sell NOS parts for these motorbikes and I have never found any piston, standard or oversize for the 500 cc. I know that Giovanni Gentile (Classic Italian Bikes) have oversize pistons for the 350 engine, that is all. (but yo...
