Can someone tell me if a seat from a later model darmah will fit in to an early one ? (whale tail)

I have a '78 model but I prefer the look of the later models. Even better if there is one out there for sale

I have discovered that the inside on one of my fork tubes is rusty. No idea how water got in there. Any ideas on how to clean it up ? I know that some of the forum members here have great suggestions

I opened the electric starter engine panel on my 1978 darmah and I found the starter chain to be loose. Is there a way to adjust ?
