750 GT wire headlight mount question

Hi...

I've seen two versions of these mounts, mostly the same, but with a different shape of eyelet at the bottom. One is round, one is oval.

I'm guessing the round eyelet is early, for reflectors, and the oval version is later, for turn signals.

Anybody know? For SURE??

Any info on installing a 37/33mm valve Scrambler head onto a 350 bottom end with stock piston, re compression ratio? Does it go up, down, stay the same? I know about fitment details.
