Andy, my advice would be to DEFINITELY change the gear return spring, regardless of what it looks like. Just make sure you get one from a reliable supplier (preferably a better supplier than the one Ducati used ... :-D :doh: )

And me, I'd change the sprag as well ;)

As others: DON'T whack the case any harder. It won't do any good and may do damage. If the bolt is still in there, you may ultimately have to drill its head off. Maybe the reason for the low number produced was because they were too pretty? Sounds perfectly plausible to me :-D Making what was seen to be a compromise machine was always gonna be tricky, to be honest. Yes (to NGKs, that is ...). It's what I use on my Dramah and my Laverda.

You need to check whether you need resistor caps or not. I think the MHR came with both at different times?

Look at the range you have to chose from! :-D
