Re: Question about rear fender for 1974 Ducati 750 Sport

So this is an aftermarket fender that syd's makes or has made then and not a factory part? Hi Steve, yes as stated in the auction this is a brand new never been mounted aftermarket fender. I think retail on this is $130 new + shipping from Florida I'd take a lot less than that for it. No reserve on...

20 years of Ducati International Owners Club Newsletters

I have a stack of old Ducati International Owners Club newsletters ranging from 1976 to 1996. Lots of interesting articles and tech tips and some are even in color. These can probably be found posted online but I was thinking of listing these on EBay for anyone who is interested in having the origin...

Re: Question about rear fender for 1974 Ducati 750 Sport

Thanks for the response!
My understanding is that this fender fits 1973 - 1975 SS and Sports? Is that correct?

Question about rear fender for 1974 Ducati 750 Sport

Hello, I was cleaning out my garage today and noticed I had a brand new spare rear fender for my old 1974 Ducati 750 Sport that I sold 4 years ago. It was on a top shelf mounted on a wire stand and it is painted red with Imron red paint just like my old bike was. I have it listed on EBay currently b...

Thought some of you might like to check out this new song I wrote and recorded yesterday. Sadly I never ride my Ducati anymore (I now have a 5 year old boy & 3 year old girl that occupy my time! The Ducati sits in my garage beckoning. I posted the song here with a better photo as an attachment. ...

Update

Sent my Dyna S ignition back to DynaTek. They just contacted me with test results. They found a faulty module. Since mine is out of warranty they are offering to sell me a new one for $69.
Not bad considering the $150 normal cost.

The Dyna S ignition worked fine for 18 years.

I think Michelin started production of those tires again. If not there are some Paso owners that are switching to Metzlers.

Saw the owner at the Legend cocncours this past weekend. Told him he ought to restore the bike. He said he has too many projects going on. He is retired but remains quite busy working on exotic cars and motorcycles from his garage. He finished my Morris Minor convertible restoration for me. He is no...

Dyna S ignition failure?

I have a 1974 Ducati 750 Sport with Dyna S ignition (circa 1988) and chrysler marine coils + new wiring, japanese switchgear and Honda fusebox. Last July I rode it from San Jose to Laguna Seca to the Moto GP race. That day it was extremely hot and took hours to get into the racetrack to park. I was ...

Modified Sport w/ stock carbs jetting

My bikes motor was rebuilt by Jim Woods to 883cc with head porting modifications for 36mm carbs. Previous owner put stock carbs back on with no jetting changes and Bike seems to run fine with the stock 32mm carbs down low and midrange however at high speed when I apply full throttle the motor sounds...
