Re: WTB: 250 NC Monza parts

OK, after getting some books on the singles and reading up I now know my Monza is most likely a 1966 and titled when sold in '69. Thanks to those who responded...I am most of the way there. However, I am still needing the following items: center stand lower triple tree (31.5mm) damper knob (tall ver...

Re: GT 750 Spark Plug Leads

I have some original pieces of the "red" wire and can confirm the above photo is spot on. They are really more of an orange than a true red color. You can buy repro but of course its nothing like the original. The green repro seems to be pretty close but then again I have never seen an ori...

Re: biggest ever bevel engine?

It's amazing there are still a few of these laying out in the open. They are very, very sought after in the vintage car/boat race crowd. I would think even the wrecked ones would have some useful parts. Please post a link to the articles.

Sprocket size?

My new project 250 NC Monza was slightly modified for off road with 3.52 ratio (17/60 sprockets.) I will be using it on the road as an all around fun ride, mild performance upgrades but nothing serious. Can't seem to find any specs on baseline gearing. I understand the basic theory but have no exper...

Re: What's up with all the bevel's being "broken" on eBay?

In that case, I have an 860 frame I would like to get rid of. Was saving it but now I have my new 250 toy to play with. I'd love to get stupid money for it but I would settle for a reasonable offer. Any takers?

Re: What's up with all the bevel's being "broken" on eBay?

The guys parting out the 860's will kick themselves in another 10-15 years when they become rare and valuable. When round case and even singles become out of reach for the masses they will turn to the 860 and other models. Or the younger crowd will appreciate the style cues more than we do. Its inev...

Martin, are you still after this part? I may have an extra NOS fuse box soon. Don't have the off white cover though, only the yellow one. Will have to verify the color codes. Let me know, Jordan

Can't tell how good their prices are as the main site is down there is no list to compare with. :( Bits on ebay but the shipping to the US seems to be higher than it should be. Anyone have thoughts?
