Re: recommendations for battery for 900S2?
Sounds more like a starter circuit /equipment issue than battery if battery is new.

Re: 78 900ss rear shocks
Contact Ikon shocks in Albury NSW (check the net), give them your shock model numbers, they will sell and send you a rebuild kit. May even need new springs depending on how hard a life they have had and how the rider may have "grown" over the years! ha! Ask nice they may even tell you how ...

Re: '78 900ss wheels - question.
4 bolt and 6 bolt adaptors are easy to get hold of for 900SS wire hubs. If you buy wheels, I have a new 6 bolt rear adaptor for 280mm discs in my spares and will sell it to you for cheaper than you can buy them retail! No use to me , Ive just sold my spare to needs wire wheel set (complete with adap...

Re: 860 GT mystery repair
I would have the case crack tested if you have it apart, and then if it shows , have it TIGed up, plenty of good TIG welders out there. Not sure where you are, but ask you local Ducati workshop (as long as they have bevel experience they will know a TIG welder!) If you reassemble you really cant eff...

Re: SSD rear intake/inlet manifiold
John, You need a manifold for a 900SS, you will need to check your manifold stud spacing, but if it has 40"s currently you may be lucky and have the correct spacing (I am not 100% sure but I think 52mm or so rings a bell?) check on this forum, those details are certainly repeated here somewhere...

Re: 38mm straight pin big end set
Yes Vince, he's the man who's got the crank and diagnosed my problems, even he can't find bits, hence a wider search.
Dave at moto italia is looking around.
Have been in touch with Ian G.

38mm straight pin big end set
I've just been given news after a thorough inspection of my race engine crank that it is stuffed! I am in urgent need of a new big end set . It's a straight 38mm crank pin bottom end, I am looking for a twin rib setup or something equally as strong. (It's a 79 ss style bottom end) I've checked out L...
