I always powder coat frames as its very hard to spray a frame evenly! Also although 2k is pretty hard, powder coating is more resilient. Its a good idea to get things like triple clamps and headlight mounts done with the frame. Parts really need sand blasting b4 coating, gives a really good key. Hop...

Fitting Mille oil pump to 900 engine

We are nearing the completion of a race motor and are hoping to fit a mille oil pump but have found the drive doesn't line up. Does anyone know of a gear available to make it work? does the Mille have a dished gear or similar and if so are they available?

Could be a leaky inlet manifold causing it to run lean when hot.
