Kreme Removal

Is there a way to remove an old Kreme coating that won't damage my paint?

BTW, A couple of shops I've seen here in L.A. are coating metal tanks with a red coating ("Red Coat") they say works with our gas.

A friend has a 750GT he's owned since new. Can anyone recommend a source for rear brake shoes and the actuating cam piece? How about for a clutch basket?

Rechroming headlight shells

The headlight shell on my '72 GT had been painted black over the bad chrome. But the headlight mounts seem to be aluminum and riveted in with brass (?) plugs. Should they be removed and then replaced with small round head screws in place of the rivets (I'm not a stickler for 100% authenticity)? Any ...
