Thanks to all.

For now I lubed the cable to see if it gets better. Hardest part was fighting the rubber boot. How you guys take that off? It’s just so hard.

He is referring to Permatex copper gasket sealant not a copper base gasket. I don't have much time to work on the bikes and can't afford to get it wrong in the first try. Thats why I use a very thin layer of Permatex High Tack gasket sealant on every gasket. It does not dry and helps in case there i...
