my MHR is leaking oil from the speedo drive through the cable lock nut on the engine has anyone had this problem

Thanks Steve I put kits through the carbs but never replaced the what I have always called the needle and seat thinking they were in good condition,replacing the rubber tip valve is not a problem what about the seat

Front carb overflow

Hi,I try to make sure I turn fuel taps off when not running but I forgot and the next day fuel was dripping out of air filter none got into the engine a bit into the exhaust
My question is though is this a common problem?

Finally got the bike back together and running,got some advise from the auto elect and he said I don't have to connect the white wire to the brown if I don't want to so do you think this will cause any issues as some people say the gen light has nothing to do with the charging system gen stands for ...

Thanks I will look at that,I have thought about replacing the main harness I have seen them for sale would it be worthwhile has anyone done this?

Hi guys the bike has been repaired and checked out the stator and regulator working correctly but still don't know why the fault occurred,so I still have some more work to checking the complete harness.
I will post some pictures when it's back together

Thanks for the post,from what I've read it is a grounding issue and in an area that can't be seen and your right it has to something to do with the headlight,the bikes in the hands of an expert so I will see what happens
