Thanks again for your help. Knowing that they are left handed threads help immensely. I actually removed them by putting the shaft in a lathe to hold it and they loosened right up.

Thanks to both of you. I wasn't sure if they were right or left handed threads. I tried both ways, but it was difficult to hold with the heads off. At least knowing which way to turn will help. Thanks again.

Cam nut removal
Hi guys! I am restoring a 73 Ducati 750 GT. This is a total tear down, every nut and bolt, every bearing, every gasket resto.. I'm having trouble removing the nuts on the end of the cam shafts. I have at least one bearing that is suspect, but this these heads have been exposed for about thirty years...

73 Ducati 750 GT Newbie
Hi everybody. I have a 750 GT that my brother gave to me. Great yeah, except he took it apart in 1980 and it is literally a bracket case. I'm doing a total restore, so much help will be needed. Thanks guys!!
