Possibly looking to replace the rear shocks on my scrambler, anybody know a good source for the replacement. Additionally, if I don't replace the shocks, am looking for information on rebuilding the original adjustable shocks, articles, pictures, etc.

Tim, I have completely found out my issue with these forks and have found why and where the bearings go. If your forks are the original 31.5 Marzocchi forks, I can help you out on the rebuild. It's relatively simple once you know how and where the bearings go. If you need my help, get new fork seals...

Tim, I did find the answer to my questions about the front forks, not from the forum but from an individual I was referred to from a parts vendor. Here is what I found; It appears that there is nothing that holds the little ball bearings in place and there is no function, bad design!!! Cannot verify...

When working on +50 year old stuff (those forks were used earlier also), no need to rush anything or anybody. Thanks again PK. I now have them all saved for future reference. Should start buying in a month or so, need to get the frame coated and then I can start buying things to put back on. I dismantled the bike mostly yesterday, and found out that I will need a rear brake switch for sure.
